One of the pleasures – although in some moments it seems like a field of pitfalls – is having so many mask characters sitting on the shelves and (figuratively) screaming for more stage time. One of those is the “Troll”. Created as the servant of the Troll Witch in our production of Lurvehette, a Norwegian folktale, the Troll has been itching to be in more productions. Well, he (it?) is getting its wish! We are creating a small 15 minute story revolving around this gruff but amazingly lovable character for the art festival KostBar in our favorite hideaway Almens, Switzerland. We’re having fun creating the Troll’s living room… KostBar is from the 23rd to the 25th of February, centering mostly around the Restaurant Landhuis.
